$125,000 Grant
Heart of Los Angeles – Youth Orchestra Los Angeles at Heart of Los Angeles

Bio:
The Heart of Los Angeles began in an old, dilapidated gym behind a church where the founder, Mitchel Moore, invited a handful of young men to play basketball. It soon became a safe space for the youth living in the Rampart District and over the years grew into the non-profit organization it is today. Their mission is to serve at-risk and underserved youth by offering free, exceptional after-school programs in the arts, academics, and athletics.

Program:
The Youth Orchestra Los Angeles at Heart of Los Angeles is a program that has partnered with the Los Angeles Philharmonic to bring orchestral music education to underserved youth in Los Angeles. Each year, they provide 300 elementary, middle school, and high school students instruments free-of-charge, intensive after-school orchestral instruction and academic tutoring.

A Message From GENESIS

At Genesis, we celebrate that creative force in each child that will catapult their lives. It is central to the mission of Genesis CSR, because Genesis is born of a balance. Between the part of us that marvels at stunning technological achievements, and the sector in every heart that longs for graceful simplicity and tranquility. That balance lives deep in the soul of our company.

Driven by the belief that inspiration is the greatest luxury a luxury car company can deliver.

And that as long as humans express their deepest aspirations in paint and steel and stone and the human form itself, there will be children witnessing that expression whose hearts and minds and destinies will be redefined and reimagined forever.
